BELGRADE, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Serbian and Chinese companies on Thursday signed several cooperation agreements worth a total of 1.5 billion U.S. dollars at the China-Serbia Business Forum in Belgrade.

The agreements covered a range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and telecommunications.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo attended the forum and witnessed the signing ceremony.

Vucic said that Serbia and China are comprehensive strategic partners, and the two countries have enjoyed fruitful cooperation in various fields.

He added that the China-Serbia Business Forum is an important platform for promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Chen said that China is willing to work with Serbia to implement the Global Development Initiative and the Belt and Road Initiative, and to deepen cooperation in various fields.

The China-Serbia Business Forum was organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
